Zonegreen has installed warehouse personnel protection systems at three maintenance and parking sites in Doha.

The first installation was completed at the main Al Wakra heavy-duty repair station, and the first phase of the North-South red line was scheduled to open in May. The DPPS is now available in two locations on the East and West Green and Gold lines and is expected to open later this year.

The seven lines of the Green Line Al Rayyan depot are equipped with DPPS, four of which are equipped with power derailers to provide physical protection for employees working in potentially risky areas.

Beacons and cars were installed on a road in the Ras Bu Abboud parking lot on the Golden Line to warn employees of the vehicle.

Employees log in to DPPS with personalized data keys, enabling them to protect the area they want to work without disabling the entire warehouse. People with higher levels of access can also control vehicle motion, and Zonegreen says it's just "a fraction of the cost of a complete signal system."
